On Sunday December 14th, Mid Shore ABATE met at the Hangar Cafe in Easton for breakfast. We then took 8 boxes of toys to the AMES United Methodist Church in Denton. We had 3 vehicles and 20 motorcycles deliver the toys.
On October 5th, 9 bikes from Mid-Shore ABATE rode to Annapolis to participate in the 2008 Annual Helmet Protest Ride. There were 190 bikes total participating that day.
Mid Shore ABATE sponsored a Dice Run on Saturday, July 19th. It was HOT but the run throughout Delaware was nice. We had two new stops and three old favorite stops. Riders rolled 5 dice at each stop and the top two scores at the end got a nice Paul Hays created trophy. The rider from the furthest distance away received a nice trophy also.
On June 28, a large group from the Calvert Chapter of ABATE (including Neal Ackerson, the state president) rode to our Lowes Wharf Bike Show. One of their members took a group shot of both chapters.
On June 20th, a large group of Charlie's friends met at Twin Iron Customs in Easton and rode to Grasonville where we met Randy, Pam, and Charlie and gave Charlie a motorcycle escort home on Rt. 50 back to his house.
